Working in a legal team

When you have been added to a legal team for a case, available tasks for that case will appear in your My Tasks dashboard. They may be assigned directly to you, in which case you can open and complete them as usual. If they are assigned to another team member, you can claim them.

To claim a task which was assigned to someone else in your team:

  1. Click the Claim icon next to the task in the workflow
  2. Confirm by clicking the Claim button in the main window
  3. The task icon in the workflow will change to To do - click this and proceed with the task as usual
  • There is no CMS notification when you are added to or removed from a team - the team administrator should let you know
  • The CMS will by default assign new tasks to the last team member who worked on a task in that case, but they can be claimed by other team members
  • There is no CMS notification when a task is claimed by another team member
  • Only team members who are registered representatives in the CMS can complete the Lodge task
